The service, the quality is exceptional, and everything has style. 

I have special needs in shoes. After hip surgery it is necessary to insert a heel lift in one shoe, but that's not all. 

The toe spread needs to be wide and a bit longer. The heel body has to come high enough on the ankle to stay on. And they need to be stylish. 

The topper is my energy level is low, and while Lucia's is wheel chair accessible it's not possible to browse eith a walker or wheel chair. Therefore I need someone to seek, find and bring the shoes to me for my approval. 

Caesar and Luis did all that was needed with grace. And a pair meeting the full criteria was found. That has been their procedure for years. They use to take shoes to my mother in assisted living.

This place ROCKS. They really know their stuff, they're extremely helpful, and will point you in the right direction.  You can ask them lots of questions, get very informed answers, and they can do some alterations to a shoe you have to make it fit better.  Next time it's shoe time, this is where I'm coming first.

I'm constantly perplexed by how difficult it is to find shoes that are both supportive/comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Imagine my delight to find a store that has a full selection of shoes that achieve both those goals!! I needed shoes for an upcoming trip and got a lot of great help from a sales person to figure out what shoe would work best. While they are a bit pricey, it's worth it to me to have shoes that feel like I'm walking on air and can function aesthetically in multiple contexts!

I have been shopping at Lucha's for over 15 years and had a terrible experience recently.  I special ordered ordered a pair of shoes to fit in my new AFO braces.  The first sales girl was just rude when I asked about knee highs to fit under the braces. I have bought dozens of socks and stockings there over the years.  The gentlemen who helped me, gave me the shoes then walked away.  Leaving me to figure it out the fit on my own and  if the shoes were going to fit with my AFO's.  He never returned except when I was at the counter to ask for my credit card to be refunded.  That step required talking to 2 other people, who appeared to be in charge.  Too bad they took more interest in questioning my request for a credit then they did helping me find the right shoes for my braces.  No way am I going back.  If Gabriella ( who is only there on Tues and Thursday)  is not there do not bother to go in as no one else cares.
