This place is awesome. They really care about their customers and taking care of their hair. The staff are all pleasant. Their knowledge of natural hair is incredible. If I every had to leave Charlotte, I would come back here just to get my hair done.

I had a great experience at Lucy You Natural Hair Care. I had a appointment for a trim on my natural hair. I have been to Lucky You before when they was at another location. I felt like I was meeting with old friends. Cynthia took good care of me. My hair was bouncing, shining and flowing when I left. The salon was very clean. Service was great. My drive was 45 minutes but it was worth it..

In response to Tyler Jeffries.... It is stated In our salon policy (which is given to each new client to read thoroughly and to provide a signature of acknowledgement) that Any form of dissatisfaction should be reported to management within 48 hours of the service. While we regret that you feel that you may not have obtained the best service at this particular appointment, we were also NEVER notified that there was a problem. It is highly important to us at Lucky You Salon and Suites, that the client follows protocol, as we cannot fix that which we do not know exists. Had you reported the issue, it would have been addressed Immediately, as client satisfaction is held as high priority within our establishment. We are a Training Center, and our mission also includes cultivating up and coming stylists. This could have been an opportunity for a learning experience. Thank You for your comments . We wish you well on your search for a new salon home.

1 year ago I would've given this place 5 stars. Before the relocation, I would come to this shop to get my hair trimmed. The only place I trusted to properly trim my ends. The service was excellent because I had an excellent stylist who treated me like a valued- customer. She always did an amazing job!!! With the new transition, it's almost like management is hiring anyone with basic credentials. About 3 weeks ago I had the worst customer experience during my last trim visit. I was very tempted to get up and leave after the rude comments made by the stylist. But I sucked it up because I really needed my hair trimmed. I trusted that she would do a good job as I have received good service from Lucky You in the past. My hair is in even worse condition than it was when I entered the shop! My ends look awful! And I was really hesitant to leave this review at first. But everyday I look at my hair I am extremely disappointed. I am not sure what method she used to trim my hair but it clearly did not work! Not only did I receive attitude during my service, I was charged 3x more than normal, and my ends turned out a mess! Sadly I will not be returning to this salon...but just a suggestion to management not to hire primarily because of skill... or in this case lack there of... but the stylist should also be good with people. The stylists are truly what make the experience and this particular stylist who shall remain unnamed did not give two cents about my customer experience, my opinion, or my hair.
