I've been going to Luigi's since about 1981. Always great food and great service. Used to always get the nachos when out with friends. My favorite for the last two decades has been the pizza bread. Basically a French bread pizza... Amazing!

This place definitely has the best pizza in town, probably the state. They do not skimp on the cheese. The service is always good too. If you are from out of town and want some good food try this place.

I used to love ordering from Luigi's Pizza. Their Large Taco Salad rocks. Well, that is if you get it fresh, & not one made from ingredients that have been sitting all day, so be warned ordering late night delivery. I used to always order the Taco salad for delivery, with lots of extra sour cream, & extra meat. But, last time I did, I noticed the meat, had a bit of a funny, sorta "sweet" taste to it. Didn't think too much of it, so I proceeded to add my sour cream, & go to town on it. Well, needless to say, that was a mistake. About 10 - 12 hours after eating, I began hurling my guts out, lots of undigested lettuce hunks, etc., with ALL the classic signs of food poisoning. It was awful. My home health nurse said I looked terrible lol. I dealt with this for the better part of the next day, 15 - 18 hours, I suspect until everything was out of my system. Once everything was out of my system, I felt fine. Thank god! Seeing that I also take medications for things, & I couldn't hold anything down, it was made even worse by not being able to take any of my necessary meds. First, & only time I have ever had food poisoning, & I am guessing that funny taste I thought the hamburger in the taco salad has, was a clue. It most likely was either old, or something happened. All in all, this kind of sucks, 'cuz I really do love Luigi's food, especially the taco salads, & their pizza isn't half bad either if ya like tons of cheese :)  , but I am very fearful of eating there now, as I DO NOT want to go through that again. I will not tell anyone not to eat at Luigi's, but I WILL tell people to pay attention to your taste buds. If something tastes a bit off, DON'T EAT IT! Even if it's late night delivery, call & get it re-done or something, just don't end up like I did, hurling all day the next day. It's NOT fun.
