They got the 3 star for the friendliness and great nurses but man they can step up on the food area. I wasn’t even a patient and the food was garbage. No selection and way overpriced. I had a burger fries and a fountain drink and paid 10.02 very disappointed. I would go to a different hospital for that reason.

1st day and not impressed. Daughter had back surgery when transferred to a room bed was too small and matress broken down. Had to beg for a recliner to be able to stay with her and get some rest. Refused recliner for family member stated none available. Which I find unbelievable in a hospital of this size.

Very very poor service...didn't even get put in a room...was stuck in the hallway for many many hours with no attention...Dr's contridicting each other...This place is a joke! You leave with an enormous bill and no further diagnosis of medical illness. I will never return to this hospital.

I would give negative stars if I could. I had a surgery in 2015, first of all they screwed up the address and all my information regarding my surgery did not get mailed to me. (They never told me anything would be coming so I never knew) When I showed up for my appointment for my surgery, they had screwed up again. I went to multiple doctors for referrals and Lutheran managed to lose the very important information that I “must need general anesthesia”. So they could not even preform the surgery because apparently anesthesia could not be used in that particular building. I took off work for two different surgeries for ablation. One leg first, wait a week, do the other leg. So I took off a week of work to get the first surgery that wasn’t preformed. Thanks for the loss of pay for your mistake. They had to do both legs in one surgery because of their mistake. Which was extremely painful .. After surgery my parents were so awesome they made my payements every month to help me out. They assumed everything was paid once they no longer received any bills. There was one bill that Lutheran for some reason sent to me, but they had the WRONG ADDRESS ON FILE, so I NEVER GOT THE BILL. $4,000 surgery and everything had gotten paid except for $160 that we did not know existed. So it got sent to collections. While we settled collections for a payment we never laid eyes on—— it AFFECTED MY CREDIT WHICH MAKES ME FURIOUS. DON’T GO TO LUTHERAN UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER.

As much as the hospital can step it up and take care of their patients, the Lutheran Hospitals pharmacy drags them through the mud. People are having surgeries and going HOURS without pain medication because the hospitals pharmacy does not do their job efficiently. I have been a patient here for over a week and keep having to go without any pain medication at all after having two surgeries on my feet. Unless you just want to hand the keys to the building over to Parkview I strongly suggest reorganizing your PHARMACY!!!
