Luz de Luna Restaurant & Bar
Luz de Luna is a casual restaurant featuring the straightforward rusticity of Spanish cuisine in a contemporary setting. It is located in the City of Sheboygan, alongside the magnificent Lake Michigan, where it opened its doors in February of 2015.
The concept for Luz de Luna was heartened by the easy going, innovative and fun food scene of Spain. The new culinary movements in Madrid, Barcelona and San Sebastian focused on the use of fresh ingredients to produce simple, hearty and flavorful dishes, paired with handpicked beverages.
At Luz de Luna earthy tapas, colorful soups, and delicious entrees take their place on the table next to crispy pizzetas, pastas, salads and simply wonderful bocatas (sandwiches). The delightful main courses have quickly become customer favorites; such as the Horseradish-Crusted Sirloin with Rioja Sauce & Garlic Mashed Potatoes, the Seared Sea Scallops with Pumpkin-Sage Cream, Mushroom Risotto & Serrano Crisp, or the Luz de Luna Steamed Black Mussels
with Serrano Ham, Dijon-Sherry Cream Sauce & Fries. The menu is flexible, allowing the restaurant to accommodate to the customer’s specific needs (gluten free, vegetarian), and it is also full of distinct flavors, textures and combinations. Even the desserts surprise our customers taste buds, and offer a stellar ending to the dining experience.
