I've been there several times already and never been disappointed. Sweet staff. Good prices! Modern decoration. I'll continue to be their customer.

This salon is neat and tidy, but that is where its positive attributes end. I brought my own gel polish, because my constant typing is hard on my nails. In case of a chip, I like to repair my own manicure, as I do not have the time to run to the salon. Even after assuring the technician three times that the gel purchased at a reputable beauty supply store would work under an LED/UV light, she continued to question me and talk to her co-worker about it. She repeatedly tried to convince me to use one of the salon's gel polishes, after I made it clear that I wanted to use my own. Shortly thereafter, when I asked for nails as short as possible (which she did not do), I requested that she shorten my nails even further, and twice she asked why I would want to do this, and proceeded to tell me that my short nails were boring. Perhaps technicians at this salon should focus on what clients want, and keep their opinions to themselves. I don't care for my long drive to my former salon, but it's worth it to be treated with respect. I will never return to LyLy's Bayshore.

I was impressed to see everyone chipping in to clean and sanitize at the end of the day (I was the last customer). HOWEVER at the end of my pedicure and full set is when the bs began. During my pedicure I asked for total pricing with gel polish. The young lady told me $60. After my full set I realized my toes was much darker then my nails. Come to find out she use regular polish on my toes and the other tech used gel on my hands. Towards the end the tech told me the total was $80. I explained to him that I asked the young lady twice and she told me $60. He pulled out the price list and said she doesn't speak english well but it's $80. I told him that's fine but I'm paying $60 because that's what I was told. He was hesitant but eventually said ok took my $100 bill and went to the register. Shortly after Another tech came back stating that my total was $80. I explained to her that the young lady told me $60 and I would never spend that much money. Especially considering my nails were really short in length in addition to having regular polish on my toes. After going back and forth on the price she told me I should have looked at the price list. My whole thing is why would I look at the price list if your employee told me the price. She then continued to use the excuse that the tech didn't speak english well and I was trying to get over on that. She threatened to take my nails off and everything. I told her no she would not be taking off the nails and if that's the case she shouldn't be giving out prices and maybe she needs the price list or an English interpreter. She threatened to call security after it became a shouting match and I told her please do so they can hear how you sound. Long story short the tech agreed to $60 and nearly threw my change at me. Guessing because I had a $100 bill she thought that I was going to pay 80 instead of 60. But I didn't plan on spending that much money on nails so no I will not pay for a misunderstanding on your employees behalf. I was told I should go to an American salon and not to come back. Update: the nerve of them trying to charge $80. there's a gap between the tip and my nails. I'm really hoping I don't have fungus In between the tip and my real nails. Plus I'm walking around with orange toes and yellow nails.

Just horrible!!!! I took my daughter in to get her nails done for her birthday......let's just say I could have let my five year old do what they did; and then to expect me to to pay $80 for some nails that were all differently shapes and lengths.... KNOW THIS!!! I TOLD MY DAUGHTER TO GATHER HER THINGS AND I LAID $5.00 on the table for wasting MY TIME! I WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO MAYFAIR THATS NEXT TO BOSTON STORE AND SEE MRS.KELLY!!!

She was rushing to finish my nails. You can still see the nail polish I had on my nails before I got my nails done. I have bubbles in my nails because of her rushing and I just got them done 2 days ago. I won’t be going back but I love the color I picked out. Plus it was pretty pricey.
