Very cute and authentic diner. Friendly people. This was my first time visiting a diner on my US trip and loved it! Stopped by and tried the homemade apple crumble pie which was delicious and enjoyed a few cups of coffee.
An awesome spot with good and fresh food. The meat they use are all top of the line. You will get some great service by coming to this spot!
Had good scrapple, but these folks need to learn how to make a western omelette and hash browns. Veggies inside rolled eggs, do NOT make a Western omelette. Plain Sliced potatoes are NOT hash browns.
Super friendly service, ready to serve you want you want hot and tasty. Attentive without hovering. I had a great mix of southern breakfast with a biscuit under sausage gravy, cheese grits and a patty of local sausage... good thing I was a tourist and walked there because it was so super filling for a very reasonable price. I would be gaining tons of weight as a local.
I came here for breakfast and was seated right away. My food came 20 mins later. There is a service charge for paying with credit card, so bring cash.
It's quaint diner, food was okay, not bad but nothing omg great either. We did sit at the counter which is fun to watch them cook, but I'm also not a fan of plain fingers not gloved scooping out omlet toppings into a bowl to serve guests. Especially after watching her work for 20 minutes in the grill and touching just about every cabinet door and surface in the kitchen. To me, grab a spoon to scoop out.
The waitress was really nice. Food is simple diner food but sorry no waffles, just pancakes. Coffee was burnt Maxwell House but she did keep the cup full. They put gravy on everything, either sausage or chipped beef gravy and it was kind of like a flavored paste. Not my favorite.Food: 3/5
Went there last week with my sister in law we both ordered chip beef on biscuits with side of scrambled egg.We was both wondering where was the beef,a couple of very small pieces of beef. The egg was not scrambled very well could see where the white&yellow egg was separated . The biscuits was very good light& fluffy. The lady that took our order was very nice. The home fries was hard& more like potato chips which we didn't care for,way over cooked
This place was such an amazing find. The food was great and the selection was really wide. Everyone there was so nice and the service was super fast. Everyone knew everyone in there we were quite outsiders but still felt very welcomed. Its a small diner but everyone was in and out so quick that no-one had to wait for a table.
The worst French toast I have ever had, super thinly sliced and lacked any sort of flavor. The service was terrible, I believe it was because we were not locals. It was very obvious what customer received good service and ones who did not. It was overall a poor experience.
