We took our kiddos to Papermill Place yesterday for a late breakfast. We've been there before, and I like their steak tips breakfast, which is what led us to go back. Unfortunately, they no longer have that on the menu, so I ended up getting the regular steak and eggs, my husband got some kind of breakfast bowl, and our little ones got the kids pancake meal. None of my food was seasoned, everything was incredibly bland. I can understand leaving seasoning out for dietary purposes, but to not even put any salt and pepper on a steak?? I don't care for steak sauce, but somehow adding Heinz 57 steak sauce to my steak made it edible. I asked for Hot tea, and I got a hot mug of water with ALLLLL kinds of nasty stuff floating around in it. The hot water pot the server brought to me had the same dirty water with brown things floating everywhere. It was beyond disgusting. It made me question what else in that restaurant is unsanitary, which didn't make it any easier to finish my meal. Our server was less than attentive, and most of the time we were left waiting a really long time for her to return just to notify her that something was wrong. That was definitely the last time we'll be visiting that establishment. What a disappointment.
The breakfast we had was delicious. Good size portions at a good price. Also, the service was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect. We couldn't get through half a drink without a quick refill. Thanks!
If I could give more than 5 stars I would! It wasn't super packed but it was definitely busy, and our food only took 5 min to arrive! I had the western omelette and it was by far one of the best I've ever had! The egg was cooked and spread out evenly, wrapped among the western mix of veggies and meat. Tasted home cooked and full of flavor. The only thing I added was hot sauce because I love spice. Will definitely visit this place again to try other menu items.

Great experience to see your breakfast being cooked right in front of you. Pancakes and french toast is what we had ordered and tasted delicious.
Love the food here! Service is always friendly & this place is always packed. After hearing about how good the food was from my co-workers for a year I finally tried it. That was several years ago. We don’t eat out as much as we used to but I still call and order carry out. They never disappoint.
Traditional diner with absolutely delicious food. Some of the items on the menu are hard to be found elsewhere and here, made superb. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but who cares, I'm there for the food, not the wallpaper. The pricing is excellent too! If you're in the area, you really need to check them out.Food: 5/5
This was the only place we found open at 6:30 am on a Sunday morning besides Waffle Hut, Dunkin and Starbucks. The place is showing some signs of wear, but is clean and well maintained. This is a great place to get a hot Southern breakfast. My husband liked his steak, eggs, hash browns and biscuits with the side of sausage gravy. My blueberry pancakes were very good- two was about right for me but some people people may want three if they are hungry and that is all they are having.
I came here for breakfast with a friend. Hadn't been before, despite hearing many great things for years. It was fantastic. One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Especially loved the potatoes but I just love taters anywhere lol. Everything was great, old school diner vibes and very efficient staff. Might not have seemed the friendliest at first, but they get the job done and are definitely polite to everyone. Great place.
We love coming here for breakfast. We both work in restaurants so we get it, but today was unusual. The older server came to take our order, but we asked for more time. Literally came back 1 minute later. I felt hurried and made a quick decision. When I say she ripped the menu out of my hand, she did! My boyfriend and I looked at each other in disbelief! He overheard her muttering I can't take anymore or I can't take people. It made me want to ask for an application! Our food was good, I had scrambled eggs and white toast. I never got a coffee refill. I had 1 piece of french toast with no syrup. My boyfriend got a bottle off another table. We will come back, but that lady scared both of us and if she had communicated with us, we would have been more understanding. Very disappointing.
