Dr Nelson preformed 2 lumbar fusions on me. He and his staff were very professional, the surgery worked and I have my life back. He has an unique bedside manner but I came to appreciate his sense of humor and his straight forward no non-sense approach. I would highly recommend him if you have a back issue affecting your quality of life.

His bedside manner is that of a very good surgeon, a tad arrogant, but will tell you how it is. To the point manner. I went from a herniated disc that caused severe pain when walking and standing to taking walks again with my wife. THANK YOU!

Terrible. No bedside manner. Told me after several MRI'S and x-rays, "nothing more that I can do" No options, nothing. Crying in hospital office, and at home. Finally figured there had to be something, got a spinal brace, holds everything together. Why the he'll did I pay him all this money, and figure it out myself
