Had a violent muscle bound lunatic on the loose who hospitalized a harmless man, Lynn PD told us we are a low priority took over 24 hours to get any attention they said call us if something else happens, meanwhile a gentleman lies in a hospital bed and this guy is still right where it happened. Honestly I think they were afraid of the assailant because of all we went through and after they found out who he was they just kept ignoring the issue and lying. They served a restraining order that was like pulling teeth to get them to do. When we went back to court to renew it they said they never served 1!!!. It was just never ending frustration and aggravation. I won't get started about how they gave a crazed coke head under the influence a key to our house. Where do they get these guys?
 From my experiences they do more harm then good. Anybody wonder why the Lynn crime and homicide rate is so high? And I don't want to hear they're short handed, every day I see Lynn cops I've never seen before and usually standing out on a detail. These are just 2 incidents, I have many more archived. I should write a book, there's certainly enough material.

My friend filed a police report for hit and run. With picture of License plate of the runner and nothing is done. Went back a week later, someone at the desk sat there acting like we didn't exist. He just looked at the computer screen! Then finally got to talk to traffic investigation section after the 3rd attempt. An officer came out and took a pic of the damage of our car and said he would call back. One week later, no call. We called the department, no answer. Like why did we even go to the cops? I feel like the dude who hit and run knows exactly nothing is going to happen. What a waste of my time. The bum part is my insurance can't do anything without police being involved because the guy who hit us refused to take cooperate with my insurance. So sad!

Without all the "thumbs up" reviews that are obviously written by the pd themselves they would have a rating lower than 2.5. Thats really sad.  I just read and watched so many reviews and videos involving this pd and im sickened.  My father is a retired and i have great respect for good officers but lately there are so many bad experiences that i just have little  hope for us as a nation.  Trigger happy,  violent officers upholding the blue wall of silence is why people don't respect officers anymore.  I used to hold the blue in such high regard,  but as a mother and a grandmother i realize the heroes are minority. I can at least say that the police in my city of San Antonio are for the most part trying to make a difference. I hope the Lynn PD gets their officers more training and stop this good ol boy mentality so people will be proud to back the blue again.

Your department should be under investigation. You are crooked and liars. F*** the police...you all need fired and retrained officers need to take over. Such a shame on all of you.
