Story

Lytle Pool is one of the largest public pools in Illinois and is protected by American Red Cross-trained lifeguards.

Daily passes are $4 per adult and $3 for child. Children under 2 years old are free. Season passes for adults (12 and older) are available for $50, and for children (11 and under) for $40. (There are no family passes available).

The pool includes a large slide, diving boards, a lap area, and play structures for children. It's zero depth, with a vinyl lining.

The pool is open every day of the summer, Monday through Sunday, starting mid-May until mid August, from 11:30 to 7:45 PM.
The Pool is available for rent, as well, from 8 pm to 10 pm. The amount varies by the size of the party intending to rent it (to pay for the appropriate number of lifeguards to staff the party), but prices start at $275.

Lytle Park has 6 tennis courts, numerous playground structures, a climbing wall, picnic tables, pavilions, a swimming pool, and one unique oil well.

Families or groups can rent the pavilions for FREE. Just call and request a reservation, first come, first serve. Call 217.234.2464 and leave a message. The phone is not staffed, but someone will call you back. The park is free and open from dawn until dusk.
