This is thee slowest bank in history. Managers walk around with attitudes, tellers the same. Treating customers as if they dont need them amd are bothering them. Im opening am account and i feel like this is a bad idea 😒

Worst bank ever.. ppl are super slow dont care.. about you. I will be closing my account with them. Dont ever go to this location. 2 counters are open for a line that has 20 people.. worst bank ever.

M&T Bank has the worst customer service I have ever experienced.  They held my paycheck for over a week because I am a new customer, which no other bank has done.  This caused a late fee of 38.50, higher than any other bank.  When I went to the bank to get this removed, thinking that since every other bank either has a 'one late fee removal a year' or that they would see the ridiculousness of this situation, I was met with attitude repeatedly by the front desk woman and told it wasn't going to happen.  I'm going to close my account and go somewhere else.

If you need Customer Service DO NOT GO TO THE M & T BANK located in the Ingelsidde Shopping Center.  Approximately 2 1/2 - 3 months ago I closed my account with M & T Bank.  Because I still had 1 outstanding check, the lady I was dealing with explained to me that she could not close that account until the next day.  I said no problem.  I few weeks later I received a notice in the mail stating I have overdraft fees on my aaccount.  I called the bank and spoke with the same lady (ealy 50's).  She said I will take care of of this right away.  You will not have anymore problems.  A few weeks later, I went on-line and noticed more overdraft fees.  I called the same lady back and asked her WHAT IS GOING !!!!!!  She said - I will take care of this right away.  You don't need to worry about it happening again.  On 8/7/15 I get a notice from M & T Bank notifying me that I have a couple of overdraft fees and I need to go to the bank to repay the amount.  Hello.......Managers.....Are You Reading This E-Mail.  I Hope So.  On 8/11/15 I called the bank.  The woman I have been dealing with was not there so the man who answered the phone said he could help me.  I believe his name was Dominique.  He said he closed it out while he was on the phone with me.  I am sorry, she should not have a job if she could not handle such a small task over that time frame.  Shame on her.  I have been out of work for 7 months now.  I work 7 -  9 hours a day on the internet hoping and praying to find a job due to my position after 21 years being eliminated.  I guarentee you I could do a better.  SHAME ON HER !!!!!
