The service technician had 100% of my confidence two minutes after he walked in the door. Extremely professional and very personable. Demonstrated that he KNEW what he was talking about and provided my wife and I with the comfort and assurance that NO other contractor was able to do. This young man certainly represents MacGregor in a most positive manner. We would welcome him back into our home for Heating/Plumbing or Air Conditioning. He rates even higher stars for the level of customer service that he provide us. Thanx.

David at MacGregor's was extremely courteous and helpful in performing an annual furnace and ac check. David listened to my comments concerning the heat pump operation, did a thorough check-out of the condenser and furnace, and confirmed there was sufficient refrigerant for heating and cooling and everything was performing adequately. David also verified the propane burners were igniting immediately upon the call for heat in propane heat mode, and reminded me that the furnace was 2-stage, which could explain some of the performance questions I had about fan operation. David was thorough and professional.

On 6/5/17 David Buren from MacGregor arrived at our home at the time promised. He greeted us by name, put his sanitary shoe covers on and got right to work. David made all appropriate tests on our A/C system, made recommendations for service, and advised us as to the extended age of our equipment and the possibility of replacement vs new parts for an old A/C system. David also informed us of sales promotions at MacGregor on new A/C equipment. David is polite, competent and a credit to MacGregor.

Eric was courteous, efficient, and obviously knew what he was doing. Looked young enough to be in high school, but had the skill, wisdom and demeanor of a seasoned professional. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat.

Early morning wake up due to feeling cold in the bedroom. Quick check of the thermostat confirms the worst - the boiler has shut down and the temp inside is now in the high 50s and dropping. Search online for someone who can do an emergency call and find MacGregor. We're new to the area, so this is a crap shoot as to response and quality of work. Within 30 minutes of calling the after hours number, James called to say he would be at the house shortly. Forty-five minutes after that, here comes the big red truck and a bright-eyed James ready to take a look at the boiler. Removing the panel he immediately identifies the problem as a thermocouple that had given up the ghost. No worries, says he, as I've got the part right here. Within 20 minutes of his arrival, the boiler was back on line. The temperature inside returned to normal shortly thereafter. The service we received was outstanding and the price charged was reasonable given the time of day we placed the call. We will call the fine folks at MacGregor again, if the need ever arises. You should, too.
