Story

2016 marks 59 years of selling bicycles and fun in Miami. My family developed a visionary model of a bike store which values community service, customer service and integrity. My store in Miami is well-known around the world as a place for cyclists to find the ultimate selection of quality products and values. All of us at Mack Cycle and Fitness are justifiably proud to be a 5 Star Top 100 Bike Store in the country, recognition given to the store by our industry.

OUR STAFF
Our staff of 20 plus are experienced road, tri, mountain, recreational and touring cyclists. They love the sport and will provide you with genuine information to help you compete or just have fun. We are Miami’s only USAT Certified Multisport Retailer. Our staff is certified in Bike Fit and receives ongoing factory training in many technical aspects of products we stock.

OUR COMMITMENT
Being known as an industry leader calls for more than just talk. We put our money where our mouth is. At Mack Cycle and Fitness we give back to our community and to our sport. In the last couple of years alone, Mack Cycle and Fitness has funded over $100,000 cash toward MS Bike Ride Sponsorship, presenting numerous races, team support, special celebrity presentations and workshops, team development, bicycling advocacy and community education, we are honored to be Florida’s Bike Store Advocate of the Year. Our goal is not to simply sell the products people need in order to compete in the sport, but to support the local cycling events. We are proud to be the Presenting Sponsor of the MS Ride, Key Biscayne Tri Miami and Trilogy Series, Miami Man, Tropical Cyclocross, Gone Riding Mountain Bike Series and many other local events.

OUR SUPPLIERS
We have great relationships with our suppliers. Through the years, we have built on those relationships while creating new ones along the way. Mutual respect and working with them to help improve products has helped to open many opportunities and savings we pass along to our customers. There are some truly incredible companies in this industry and we are pleased to call most of them friends and not just business partners.

ABOVE AND BEYOND
Building the future for cycling is very important to Mack Cycle and Fitness. We support groups such as Bikes Belong, Florida Bicycle Association, IMBA and Green Mobility. We offer incentives to customers who also join these advocacy groups. We participate in The National Bike Summit (Washington DC), the Bicycle Leadership Council, the League of American Bicyclists, the Miami-Dade County Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), the City of Miami Bicycle Action Committee, and attend numerous meetings with elected officials to advance the rights of and safety for cyclists in Miami. Current projects include the development of the new mountain bike trails on Virginia Key, a Share the Road bumper sticker for City of Miami vehicles, and continued support for the Ludlam Trail, a local Rails-to-Trails initiative.
