Nice selection of women’s winter jackets, good sale price. Department stores are great because you can see and touch the merchandise. You can’t really judge quality unless the merchandise is right there where you can get a sense for it, check it out in detail — and even try it on to see if it fits and how it looks when you wear it. Beats on-line shopping, so we should not neglect our old-fashioned brick and mortar stores!

Great collection and good prices. I enjoyed my shopping experience especially free WiFi which I used to show my wife the great collection. I ended buying more than I had planned as a result. I will certainly come back the next time I am in Sacramento

This Macy's is perfectly fine if you want to purchase something (they have a great selection- which is why I'm giving 2 stars not 1), but to go here for a return or exchange or anything else that's more difficult than a purchase? Forget it. A lady helped me, still don't know her name because I couldn't see a name tag, who didn't know the meaning of exchanging an item. I wanted to exchange a pair of jeans for a size that fits, and I tell her this. Simple, right? She looks to see if they have my size in store, they don't, so she says she's going to order it online. Totally fine so far. Then she says she needs to return my jeans and put the money on a gift card which she will then use to buy the jeans in the correct size. Ok... So she does all this and then says at the end that I need to pay for shipping. Huh? It's an exchange! I shouldn't have to pay any more money than I already did. I try to explain that to her, and she says she'll call her manager. Now I'm starting to get irritated because this lady is telling her manager I'm returning a pair of jeans and getting another pair that they need to order. So of course the manager says I need to pay the money for shipping because the girl never says anything about me wanting to exchange. I'm again trying to tell the girl, it's an exchange! I shouldn't have to pay extra for anything, because that's what exchange means! But I'm sensing a mental block so I just pay the extra money and plan to call customer service about this. Which I end up doing, thank goodness, and they refund me my money because they say that with an exchange, I shouldn't have had to pay anything extra. Full circle. At the end of the day, I'll come back here only for simple purchases and also because of the location, but not for anything else.

Gary at online pick ups is awesome. Wasn't even my cashier and he helped me out with even asking. Thanks Macy for having someone awesome personnel.

This is an older Macy's and its easy to lose your bearings once you get inside. The elevators are very very slow so its easier to use the stairs if you are entering from Macy's parking garage. Trying to find help, or an open cashier, was almost non-existent.
