Well I read all the reviews on bad customer service, so I needed to sign in and give credit to the housewares Dept !  Service with a smile and small talk. Visibly enjoys her job and greeted EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER AT HER REGISTER. Didn’t catch a name unfortunately. Made my experience pleasurable during the holiday hustle.

Prolly give this store negative star if I had the option. Worst customer service ever. The employees at the women’s coat section and by the INC department next to origins are so extremely rude. They don’t greet you, they make no eye contact and if you ask for a price, they make faces. This lady Stacy has no customer service skills at all. I went in today to exchange a Calvin Klein coat I got online and I got three coats that I wanted prices on (the price machine would not give price and prompted me to ask an associate for Michael kors, and CK). I went and told her I want to return my online coat but first  I need pricees on these. She made the worst face at me and when I asked her if MK cost has additional discount (the price at the stand said 40 percent off, I wanted to know if the red sticker price is with 40 percent or not) she shaked her head no and said “it’s Michael kors.” I know it’s a MK. I am a frequent online shopper and in store shopper, I don’t need someone to tell me is “MK”. The same coat online was additional 40 percent off and I went ahead and ordered my stuff online. I am never going to this store again. The managers need to take action against these rude employees. They make your shopping experience so terrible and treat you like trash. Pathetic, very rude and worst customer service. They don’t even know how to fake being nice. The girls at the women’s coats next to handbags also miserably fails at customer service. Such a bad experience and it happens often.

I shop @ this Macy's regularly & the customer service is hit & miss. I'd say more MISS 
There is one particular girl that is always rude & unfriendly barely talks or acknowledges you.
she's usually in the INC Dept. Her name is Ashley. I went in did some exchanges & she was rude, no smile, & the entire transaction was super quiet. She didn't even greet me.
I hate to tell you sweetheart it's because of us customers that you even have a job so you might want to @ least pretend to be nice. The next time I go in I'll be sure to speak with the manager.

So I got a couple of makeup items from my aunt that thinks I should wear makeup from Macy's.  I went in and was hoping to return these things for something I would actually use. When I showed up the girl on the counter was extremely rude and ignored me for a good 20 minutes after I said I have a return. Once I told her I didn't get a receipt with it she told me just take it to Ulta or Sephora I can only offer you $5 a piece and if you take this to Ulta or Sephora they will give you more money. So if anyone at Sephora or Ulta ever wonder about some returns just know Macy's is sending them your way!
