The Friends of the Madison County Public Library is separate from, and in addition to, the Madison County Public Library Board and is a non-profit body. The purpose of this organization is to promote library programs and services not funded by the Library Board. The Friends raise money in various ways, including dues, to: purchase books, equipment and materials; provide special programs; and provide various forms of appreciation to the library staff.
