I normally stay away from anything with "Inn" in it because they are normally nasty, but, I would highly recommend this Inn! The room looked recently updated, smelled really good, freezing cold a/c which I like and the gentlemen at the front desk had a great attitude and was efficient. The price is great and I will definitely be staying here again!

Madisonville, with its small-town Texas friendliness, is located near the halfway mark between Houston and Dallas along I45. It's a great place to meet and catch up with that friend you haven't seen in a while when s/he moved to Big D and you stayed in H Town after graduation. The Inn is located just off I45. My friend arrived an hour earlier than I did, so the front desk clerk conveniently checked him in even though reservation was in my name. Upon my arrival, I found myself chatting with the clerk in a relaxed and familiar way as though I had ran into an old high school friend. Read: GENUINELY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. The grounds were well maintained and clean. Lighting around the building at night was good, and I felt safe out walking my small dog. The room appearance identical to online photos, clean and comfortable, with the convenience of a small fridge and microwave that were both very clean and in working order. A Buccees (super-sized convenience store and gas station) is located directly across the street. Now, if you are looking for a big city hotel where you can have a spa and do some big city priced shopping, then you would be best advised to travel the extra 2 hours to visit your friend in Dallas. But for a relaxed, comfortable and convenient hotel where you will find true Texas friendly folks, you will be happy with Madisonville Inn.

Very reasonably priced, nice room, great mattress. The real kicker was Erin at the front desk. She gave me directions, listened to my reason for being here, then rejoiced with me when it went so good. Then after I discovered I forgot my charger she unplugged her tablet and gave me hers. I'll be back.

Very modern rooms. Everything is updated and looks to be brand new; beds, appliances, furniture, bathroom. Room is super clean. Comfy bed. I actually didn't expect it to be this nice it being in a smaller town, but it's big city quality. The rooms are more like a hotel than a motel. Pool is refreshing.

It was a place to sleep, that's about all. Got here at 3 am, and if I wasn't so tired I wouldn't have paid the price. The bed was very firm, and it really wasn't very comfortable. Definitely would have slept on the sidewalk if I knew how uncomfortable it was.
