Mae's Bakery is a gem tucked away in Buckhead off Lenox Road. I mainly stop by in the morning for breakfast. They have great savory rolls and breakfast sandwiches.  I usually get a breakfast sandwich on a croissant and it is so good. The perfect size too. They also have great coffee and tea options as well as a very delicious chai latte. 

The one time I've eaten lunch here it was excellent. I had the soup of the day, a butternut squash soup, which was very tasty and the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had, hands down. I don't know what they put in it, but it is magic. The lunch menu changes daily so if you stop by and they have the chicken salad, get it! 

Of course their pastries and desserts are excellent as well.

Ordered a variety of baked goods for a work event, only to be told that the only thing they had for my order was cupcakes.  But only 3 flavors.  If I wanted to order 20 cupcakes, I would have ordered from a cupcake shop.  Advertising multiple types of goods on both the website and DoorDash as options is misleading if they are only "in stock" if you order them ahead of time.  That's bad business when there are a ton of other bakery options in Buckhead.

Additionally, their manager was rude, talked over me, and did not make any attempt to make it right or offer any kind of meaningful apology.  She only told me that in order to get the items listed on the website, I need to call and order them a few days in advance.

Mae’s Bakery completely messed up my daughter’s first birthday cake. I ordered a fondant cake that was suppose to represent a 3D image of a piano, but this is what I received. Not only is it a flat image, but the black icing is bleeding through and not evenly done. When confronting management with the issue, they were unorganized and did not explain their mistake. I was expecting much more based on previous reviews, but I was completely disappointed.
