Our season begins Memorial Day Weekend and runs through Labor Day Weekend. We have plenty of picnic tables all in the shade so you can bring your own lunch if you want. We also offer a very reasonably priced snack bar so making an afternoon of it won't break the bank and everyone's cravings will be satisfied.

Absolutely love the Magic Forest! We have been taking our 7 year old grandson there for three years and he loves it. We love it too! My wife and are were both children when this park opened and the fact that it hasn't changed is awesome for us. It's like stepping back in time, in a wonderful way. No better way to recapture your childhood! I saw a negative review which should be taken with a grain of salt. Looking at that person's Google reviews of other businesses tells it all. Finding fault with a nativity scene and other picky politically correct things tells me everything I need to know about this person as well. Don't hesitate to take your children to the Magic Forest....they will love it. And the all-day admission of only $19.99, which is all-inclusive, with free parking, is amazing! Not to mention that they actually will let you bring picnic food into the park, a great added benefit although we choose to purchase our food there to help support the park. LOVE THE MAGIC FOREST!!

Visited in August 2017 - interesting place - if you're into retro stuff and want to experience what was "fun" in the 60s/70s, this place is for you. The magic show was nice, the diving horse a bit odd. Time hasn't touched this place. Not sure it's worth the price though. Might be a bit creepy for some, I enjoyed the kitsch.

If you have little kids, this place is awesome, and you will spend the whole day here. Almost all the rides are for kids under 10. The whole place is in the shade. Snack bar is very reasonable, and you are allowed to bring your own food/drinks into the park. Yes, some of the decorations around the park are a bit outdated...it's not a big deal. As for the various lunatics that have negatively opined regarding the diving horse, consider this: horses in nature jump into bodies of water under various circumstances (heat...escaping biting flies...etc...). This horse only has one job: from June through Labor Day, twice a day, he jumps into a pool (and its not a high jump). Mind you, they cancel it when it's cold or raining, so in reality, he only jumps in the pool on warm, sunny days. That's his ONLY job in life. When he isn't performing, he has a nice enclosure in the park. He is not pulling a plow or a buggy in Amish country; he is not in the circus; he is not a racehorse; people in third world countries aren't making him carry bunch of stuff all day; kids aren't riding him around a pen at country fairs; he's not being turned into glue, pet food, or a meal for French people; and he's not being ridden into battle anywhere. His ONLY job is to jump into a pool twice a day when it is hot outside.
