What a wonderful restaurant! The food was fresh and delicious, and the service was exceptional. The Southern food rivals anything I've ever eaten back home in Charleston. Don, the former owner, stopped by every table and treated everyone like family. Eat outside in the courtyard - it's beautiful!

Took my boyfriend for lunch on Father's day. Our first time there The wait for a table wasn't long at all. My only regret is that we didn't ask specifically for an outside table. Because it's an old (but Beautiful) building it is loud inside. The food was amazing. It was fresh and perfectly prepared. I had the meatloaf with Mac n Cheese and lima beans. The Mac n Cheese was incredible! He had the ribs green beans and mashed potatoes. The ribs were so tender and delicious! Thank goodness we have leftovers! The owner took quite a bit of time talking with us at our table. He is such a nice man and honestly who even does that anymore??!!?? We had avoided this place because we though it was too fancy and too expensive we won't avoid anymore. Amazing food at a great price and locally owned.

This is the best fried chicken I have had in years. Owner is so friendly. Definitely will come back!

Food was excellent. Service was good. Owner is very friendly and cares about your experience. Price wasf reasonable. I will go back real soon.

Excellent southern cuisine and ambience. We enjoyed dining under the huge trees. Wait staff need better procedures but a nice time.
