I was recommended to go to this dental facility for braces and I have regretted it ever since. They told me I would have braces on for less than a year and I had them on for four years. I had straight teeth and a perfect bite, I just had a gap between my front teeth. Well, now I still have a gap when I don't wear my plastic retainer, which cracks every couple of months and I now have a cross-bite to go with it. It costs a lot of money to get braces, and now I am going to have to get them again just to fix what they should have and then to fix the damage that theirs cost me on top of it.

Both my wife and I love Magnolia, after bad experiences with others, Magnolia is a refreshing, painless experience and very straight up honest people. Becky and Dr. Kip do great work. My wife also likes her dental hygienist also. A few times I had to have work done by others and I also liked them. If you need dental work it does not get better than Magnolia.

Front desk custom service skills lacking. Not accommodating at all.  Would not even attempt to bill an insurance card as asked.

We are sorry that you feel our x-ray prices are expensive.  I wanted to clarify the claim that your first x-ray was over $300.  During the first visit we take a panoramic x-ray which is $109.  This x-ray is taken every 5 years.   We also take 4 smaller x-rays each year which is $110.   Added together that is $219 for 5 x-rays.  We always try to keep our prices reasonable.  If you want to call our office we call explain your charges.  Thank You

I came to Magnolia Dental to have a root canal done (didn't want to go to Charlottesville).  Front desk folks, dentists, and assistants were very nice.  One hygienist was a bit patronizing.  I was surprised when the dentist was the one who cleaned my teeth (he used a sonic device, which HURT!)  The "first" x-ray is over $300, so beware!  All in all, pleasant environment, but VERY pricey!  Consequently, I have gone back to my old dentist, even though I have to travel a bit, but his rates are far more reasonable.
