Story

We are the Robo T-Birds, FRC Team 1672. The team was originally founded in 2005, and since then it has grown larger than expected, with around 50 members! Team 1672 has become an outlet for the engineers of the future, and the Mahwah school district has been a huge supporter of the team. We value STEM advancements are open to anyone who shows interest in robotics and/or technology as a whole.

The people who show an interest in STEM are going to be the leaders and thinkers of tomorrow, so to help facilitate leadership opportunities, a total of 8 positions are available for students to hold. With these 8 students leading the team, friendships are made, and cooperation and communication skills are enhanced.

We have three of our own teachers assisting with every day tasks. They are our mentors, and we don't know where the team would be without them.

Since 2005, the Robo T-Birds and its members have been making great efforts to succeed and grow new friendships, all while enjoying the yearly game challenge and learning about how robotics and technology will be integrated into tomorrow's world.

We are always open to new members, as new members are needed to make sure the club lives on in future years!

Mission

To introduce students to STEM fields and promote cooperation and communication skills between teammates, all while having good sportsmanship when competing.
