What a pleasant surprise, in Philadelphia. Good selection. Clean. Fair prices. In fact, excellent prices. Found a few items that were actually less expensive than in San Francisco. Very good bentos from their restaurant next to their store. Only disappointment for us is that it was difficult to reach without a car from Center City.

Love this place! The food is awesome! I've tried many things on the menu at it is all delicious, fresh, and authentic! The grocery store also has a great selection of japanese items! The staff are also very friendly and nice! Highly recommend it if you're in the mood for Asian food 😀

A neat little place in that it's an unexpected thing to find where it's located, MAIDO! has two distinct sides. One side is like a Japanese convenience store, offering a variety of trinkets and basic snacks and food items you might expect to find in an Asian district of a bigger city. Nothing on this side was particularly interesting or special, but the prices were very decent. The other side is a small restaurant featuring a variety of general Japanese casual food items like bento boxes and miso soup. The portions are a little small for what you receive but everything is extremely delicious.

Maido is a lovely little Japanese food place, along with a supermarket attached. The food is authentic, and there are also vegan and vegetarian options.

Good variety of menu options, great ambience. Oyako don was satisfying and filling.
