Used to frequent this restaurant before we moved. Stopped in for dinner today and it did not disappoint. Brian was our server and he was fantastic. The owner, Craig, came to our table to chat after our meal. He is in there daily throwing pizza in the 650 degree wood fired oven, and has it down to a science. Not even just good bar food, great culinary experience.
I have lived in the area my entire life and pass by this little gem everyday! Why have I never been here??? When my mom and I arrived, we were greeted with a smile and a menu. The waitress was nice enough to sit us down by the door so my mom didn't have to walk far. We ordered the breaded tenderloin and fries and a fish sandwich and onion strings. For a to-go order, I ordered the Main street parmesan. This dish consisted of the fried pork tenderloin with spaghetti and mozzarella. The waitress mentioned if you prefer chicken they can substitute. All meals were fantastic definitely enjoyed. I do hope to try the pizza, I couldn't quit drooling over it! This establishment cooks their pizza in a wood fed pizza oven! If you get a chance to visit, I strongly encourage you to do so!!
This place was pretty awesome! Would definitely go back again!! Staff was friendly, good atmosphere and the food was delicious. We started with the stuffed pretzel breadsticks. I do have to say these came out looking nothing like the menu description. We were expecting something much different than what we got, but it was delicious nonetheless! Only drawback was that there were jalapeños on there, which weren’t listed in their description. My husband loves them, but not me!! Luckily they were easy to pick off. The sticks did have a nice spice to them also. Would definitely order again! For entrees, my hubby had the fried Cajun fish sandwich with fries. He really liked it! I had the pork chop dinner with cottage cheese and green beans. Those chops were delicious….juicy and tender! Green beans had onions, which I hate, but you could easily pick them out! Overall a great dining experience and we would go back again!!
The food was really good. The waitress was very nice and refilled our drinks quickly. When, I'd place my empty tumbler on the table, she's there to take it and get me a refill. Definitely, the fastest refills I've ever had. Loved the atmosphere. Will definitely visit againFood: 5/5
This place was great and the service was wonderful. The owner Craig came and greeted all of the tables. He also told us we should have tried his tenderloin..and then he brought us one out to try on the house. I'm so glad he did because this will be one of the main reasons we return! The tenderloin was one of the best in the city. It was juicy and so crunchy at the same time and was seasoned through. I ordered the potato soup and the grilled Turkey and swiss with bacon on ciabatta. The soup was pretty average but still good , premade possibly. My bf ordered a cheeseburger which looked pretty basic but it was flavorful and pretty good. The fries were a little different in a way I can only explain by saying they would hold up really well with the chilli and cheese which we didnt order but will next time. His sister ordered the pizza, because someone had to. They have an impressive pizza oven as soon as you walk in. The pizza was really flavorful she got the pepporoni and garlic. I suggest having it cooked just a little longer or ask for Craig to make your pizza if you like a crispier bottom. We also ordered the fried cheese stuffed ravioli and they were really tasty. We will def be returning for a tenderloin and to try some of the other interesting things on the menu. The jalapeno popper pizza is next !
Great hospitality super fast appetizer and fast hot dinner service. Solid pizza not a fan of pretzels but these breadsticks are top-notch. Great cheese sauce. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Awesome serviceFood: 5/5
It was a little busy, but the 15-minute wait wasn't terrible. It was definitely louder than I expected inside, and had more of a bar-feel than the "cafe" vibe I anticipated. Not necessarily in a bad way, it was just extremely loud and difficult to hear your table mates sitting across from you. The pizza was a little pricy, but I couldn't NOT try it...the pizza oven up front tempted me and I wasn't disappointed at all. We ordered the pretzel breadsticks to share, and a pizza. Definitely recommend. Overall, good experience and will return to try other food options!
We had a great time hanging out at Main Street Grille's all season patio with fire pit and heaters with our friends and 2 dogs. We were greeted by the owner, Craig, who is highly involved with hospitality and personable service. They offer a full menu of delicious items and a full bar. There were six of us that shared 2 orders of their delicious pretzel breadsticks. We had their pizza, kickin' shrimp and fries, reuben and tenderloin. WOW. All came out hot and delicious. Our pups were given treats and water bowls. We had a spacious table and shared the couches around the fire pit We can't wait to go back.
We went for dinner time expecting a great experience from the other reviews we looked at. The waitress was super nice but the food was not good. My boyfriend got lobster bisque yes we knew it was risky to order that at a bar and grille but worth a shot but it was basically a weird potato soup. We got the dragon fingers as an appetizers and it was just okay. We got a pizza as a main meal since they have a wood fire oven and we thought it would be delicious. However, it was very plain and not much better than gas station pizza. Although all staff were great, we will not be returning.
Great experience EVERY time we visit! The food is incredible, the service amazing! The owner has been there every time I've been there and jumps in wherever needed. The staff is always friendly and my cup never runs dry. As far as mom n pop and supporting local, this is the place to go!Food: 5/5
