Our business is inspired by the life of a Guatemalan woman named Mama Carmen. With very few resources, Mama Carmen takes care of nearly 100 children at her orphanage in Guatemala City.
God has been faithful to provide for the needs of Mama Carmen and her children. Six years ago, Mama Carmen was anonymously given a coffee farm. Inspired by her story, we sent one of our coffee experts to assist with Mama Carmen's farm and to train one of her sons to run the farm and the coffee business there.
We have created the Mama Carmen's brand and Mama Carmen's Espresso Cafe to aid with coffee development on her farm and elsewhere. We purchase the coffee at a fair price, roast it and sell it with a commitment to use the proceeds to assist orphans worldwide; ensuring the legacy of Mama Carmen will live on.
