Our MISSION: To build community health and wealth through business ownership, nutrition education, and access to affordable, and locally grown food.

We have all your food needs including rGBH-free dairy, sustainably grown produce, organic dry goods and a nice selection of meats.

We sell fresh bread and pastries from Arizmendi Bakery in Emeryville.

We specialize in affordable, organic, and pesticide-free fruits and vegetables.

We prepare healthy meals on-site. Some of our specialties include crawfish etouffe, grilled salmon with greens and yams, stews, soups -- vegan options daily.

Great customer service. One-on-one nutrition counseling Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.

Neighborhood food cooperative in West Oakland, across from West Oakland BART station. Conveniently located, small parking lot in back of store, street parking out front. Friendly, knowledgeable personnel. Small deli inside offered limited menu of sandwiches, drinks, only one veggie sandwich made vegan on request. Organic locally sourced produce, locally sourced bakery and packaged goods, many vegan and natural food items. Also environmentally friendly cleaning products, personal care products. Moderate prices.

I love this coop. 

The workers there are super cool and helpful. The store is small but they are expanding! They'll be taking over the old 99 cent store space a couple doors down. I can't wait because I'm sure they'll selection will grow and they'll offer more foods there. 

But in the meantime this is a great like grocery store to pick up health conscious products.

Love the selections of plant based/vegan food!  They have Wayfair pudding in 3 flavors! Sun Cups sunflower butter and chocolate cups. Local like grown in a garden in West Oakland local❤️ produce

a little pricey but great selection for such a small shop.  Looking forward to the new bigger shop opening soon.

Nice staff, but very limited variety of products. I've lived in the neighborhood for a few years now, and I used to drop by for milk, etc., but there was a stretch when their cold cases weren't cold enough. My ice cream or yogurt tasted like sweet cheese when I got home. They return it, no problem, but it's not really worth the bother to buy and return that sort of thing. I've mostly stopped going. Still a good spot for coffee and local bread.
