My first time here. The food is authentic. Delicious. Just as if I was at home and my mom or grandma was cooking!!!! Love It! We will be back again and bring more to enjoy!!!!!

A great place to eat filipino food!!!! The staff is very accommodating especially the owner who always asks if you are doing good and having fun eating. The food here tastes so good!! For those people who complained, check your grammar first before you judge this restaurant especially you have been here for a long time (just saying 🤣😂) Keep up the good work Mang dedoys Restaurant ! 😘

As a Filipino-American who's living in Austin (especially in the North Side of it) for 13+ years and been to almost 50 states who also have Filipino stores, "this store/restaurant is NOT the same when Mang Dedoy was the owner". The NEW management/owner has ATTITUDE that even a 1st grader can feel & see right away, (trying hard wannabe). We are hoping that Mang Dedoy will NOT let them use his name anymore, as they are just ruining the legacy of our Tatay/Mang Dedoy. Food is not delicious, prices is expensive, NO great rapport to customers, etc.......... "Stay a way, unless you're so hungry with NO other choices & they are the only store who carry the product you need" "Make America Great Again" Have a blessed day to y'all

This place have the WORST Customer Service. So I walk in the place, it's dead quiet. I see 2 people in the dining area, 1 person is eating and another person watching TV. I walk up and there is no greeting, so awkwardly I just had to sit myself. So after a couple of 3 minutes sitting around the person stuffing her face finally said "ow the menu is on the board so I say okay, by then the other person came from the back and started cleaning the table in front of me without asking me if I needed a drink. So quietly I was looking around after 10 min the woman that was eating finally asked me if I was ready and that I had to let her know. So I'm like, thinking in my head, is she the waitress.. so then she got up and ask me rudely if I was ready and that I should have told her what I wanted. Plainly she was pissed that I maybe interrupted her stuffing her face. My the other person or the help stood there silently. So I decided to just get up and not order. I refuse to give this place a cent. As a Filipina, this place is not hospitable.

Service and food was great. The owner is really nice and we feel welcomed. Also bought some Filipino goodies. For me I'd say they are authentic Filipino foods. . Call before you visit to make sure they are open. Google doesn't update when they are closed. Prices is so affordable too.
