This is a great movie theater. They are currently remodeling to make it even better so it is good to be mindful of your surroundings. Prices are affordable. Popcorn here is fantastic. It is served up hot and buttery with no salt flavor. Salt and seasonings are easily available if needed though. They also use a locally grown natural oil for their popcorn that contains Vitamin E, which is quite cool. The new recliner seats here are the best in the Metro. They are roomy, easy to operate, and very comfortable. Customer service is good here and the bathrooms are clean. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Seats were comfortable, theater was clean. Only complaint was the popcorn was very disappointing. The supposed butter was basically tasteless oil. You'd think with what they charge for popcorn they could at least provide a decent topping. Go, enjoy the movie, but skip the popcorn.

Never overcrowded, lines move pretty quickly. Lazyboy like seating. Luxurious, lay back with feet up. Beer bar will be ready to serve soon.

I went to a 3:35 showing. I got to the counter and there were four employees helping someone and basically ignoring me. I finally got my ticket, drink and popcorn. The popcorn is terrible. I sit down for the previews and the sound turns off. I went to the counter and was ignored again while all four employees helped one person. I finally let someone know about the sound issue. I got back to my seat and the sound eventually came back on. Great big reclining seats are awesome. I would not recommend seeing a movie at non-peak hours as the service is poor, same with the popcorn.

They have GREAT prices (great matinee pricing, $5 all day Tuesday) and the renovation is amazing! As far as I know, the reno is not totally done yet, but they upgraded the seats to the large recliners to mimic what they have at the Mann in Plymouth. It's so nice! I used to drive past the Mann to go to the AMC in maple grove, and I will NOT be doing that anymore! Prices on candy and soda are comparable to most theatre's, and the employees are always polite and on task. Overall, it's very exciting to have such a nice theatre in Champlin!
