I scheduled my move with them 6 weeks prior. I even called twice to confirm and gave them my credit card info. They were to be here between 9 and 10am this morning. They never showed up -ever! I called numerous times between 11am and 5 pm.  I was finally told that the crew took the second move instead of me first.  As of 5:15, they still couldn’t contact any of their crews.  Had to hire someone else quickly which will cost me a ton of money. Run away from this moving company!

We have used Margarets movers twice. With excellent work the first time, we expected the same. However, we witnessed movers kicking our furniture, foul language, and several pieces of damaged furniture.They sent two trucks after being instructed to send one and charged extra. They sent 6 workers after being instructed to send three and charged extra. They also added a "weekend rate" which was never disclosed.  After speaking with the owner, we worked out a plan to correct the mistakes. Even after speaking to the owner, we still received an unauthorized charge on our credit card. I attempted to contact the manager over 4 weeks. After she returned my call she was rude and told me we would be paying  the total bill because "they don't work for free." I explained to her,  the owner and I discussed terms of resolution and she told me "he is very busy and did not communicate the information." After recommending Margarets to our friends and family the first go-around, our furniture remains damaged and we are still paying over $2000 for terrible experience.

We have completed our move finding no damage of any kind. Every item was placed where we asked in our new location.

The four workers were all very nice and professional, asking a lot of questions to make certain they were satisfying us as best they could.  They worked steady.  Porscha, who gathered the information and set up the move was also very nice.

I was very happy with the work and would recommend them to anyone.

Great experience today with these guys.  Worked very hard and took really good care of our possessions... even moved our baby grand piano with no problem at all. Great attitude and pleasant to work with.  Highly recommend.

My son and daughter in law were set to move yesterday, Jan 12,2018,. They had arranged for Larry's Movers (Louisville) to start their move at 9 am. We were anxious to get started because the weather was suppose to get really bad with a lot of snow forecast. At 10 am they still hadn't showed and we were told they wouldn't be coming, they had decided to do another job. Larry's Movers never showed up! Someone told us to try Margaret's Moving, which we did. The weather was getting bleaker and colder by the moment and they had every right to tell us they just couldn't help us but they didn't. One older gentleman and a truck originally showed  up. He quickly took charge and with help from my son, husband, and a friend started getting things organized and began moving some lighter things on the truck or to the garage. Two other young men (from Maragaret's Moving) showed up and took over the heavy lifting, obviously knowing what they needed to do and getting it done. The weather was worsening by the minute but these 3 men were awesome and continued until they finished getting my son and his family's belongings safely moved. I give them a 5 not because the move went perfectly- there was a scratch on one piece of furniture and a few pieces of furniture ended up in the wrong rooms but these men and Margaret's Moving went way above and beyond on a really horrible day to help out a family in desperate straits. I believe if they'd been able to plan out the move ahead of time, not been fighting really bad weather,  been able to have come at 9 am before the weather got so bad (they were contacted after 10 am and showed up at about 12) the very minor issues would have not happened. They did a fantastic job of not hitting the walls with furniture- even in some tight spaces. When one of the men thought he'd hit the wall in a stairway, he told me so I could check it out- it was nothing. Our son, his wife, my husband, and I are so grateful for the kind heartedness of Margaret's Moving and our 3 movers. We will recommend Margarets Moving to everyone we know (and warn them to stay away from No Show Larry's Movers).
