Nice rooms, spacious and clean. They could use a few minor repairs. Staff seemed okay, didnt have much contact other then checking in. Parking lot is small, but there is additional parking close by. Stay was quiet and peaceful.

Owners are rude, not helpful at all.  Rooms not clean, didn't feel comfortable or safe here. Wifi did not work most of the time I was there.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. There are plenty of places surrounding the area that you'd be better off staying at. After driving 8 hours, my family arrived at the margarita motel at 3 am to get some sleep. When we arrived the front desk man told us that we could get a discounted price since we arrived so late, and asked that we pay in cash. When we went to the room we found that it was incredibly dirty, unkept, and outdated. The whole room was full of very very old furniture that was not cared for well and the carpet had stains all over it (the bathroom was even more unsatisfactory). In addition, the room reeked of cigarettes. Regardless, we just wanted to sleep after driving all day. However, at 7 am we the front desk man came loudly knocking on our door, demanding that either we leave. He aggressively told us that we had only paid for a few hours and that we either have to pay double what we paid (which would have been more than their daily rate) or leave. He had not mentioned any of this initially when we arrived at the motel a few hours before. We tried to calmly talk to him and asked him if we could pay more just to stay until checkout (which was at 10 am) since there was no one waiting for our room and the whole place was vacant, but he was incredibly rude and essentially ran out our family (including two kids) with us only have a few hours of sleep. I am very disappointed with the treatment that this man gave us and the overall condition of this place. It is not worth the money by any means.

Great little place. Smaller than the  other places in Banning. Quieter. Kitchenette comes in handy. Alot cheaper than eating out. Good atmosphere. Good folks. Homey... Edit; ended up staying here a month.  Have a large mellow dog, and he was well respected. That made staying in a motel with him a whole lot easier. This place is off to itself, yet close to local attractions. Casinos, Outlet Mall, theatres, even dinosaurs.
