This place is popular with the locals, but I'm not sure why. The new tile does help make it look cleaner. However, this place makes me wonder if the health department still exists. Food remains on the buffet unmarked for hours. The walls are old barn wood that has captured every drop of grease the restaurant has created. Service if not horrible is non existent. Our most recent visit we had to ask for something to be put on the buffet that wasn't old and cold. We were the only ones in the place and had to clean off our table before we sat. The other tables sat with dirty dishes on them for an hour as we waited for 1 pizza to be cooked placed on the bar and us eat. No other customers came in during this time and tables were still not cleaned, and the old food remained on the bar.

Stopped in on our way to Tennessee from Michigan.  Brisket was so good we stopped back in on our way back to Michigan a week later...With 3 pounds of brisket to bring home.  Great food with plenty of options, friendly staff (Front of the house, and back), not sure what else you could be looking for in a restaurant.

I had the strom. The bread wasn't hard and the flavor was really good. The cheese fries were very tasty as well. Good job!

Terrible and actually illegal place to work, won't give you designated work or lunch breaks, will actually fire you if you need to take a break to get water. Also, having worked in the kitchen we can tell you that not only do none of the employees wash their hands including the manager, but not a single ingredient is stored properly and the cook isn't even required to wear a hairnet. So if you like to be disrespected and eat loads of other people's hair and feces, this is the place for you!

Ordered baked spaghetti and meatballs. Came with a breadstick and a very sizeable salad. 
Order was delivered quickly, only reason they even get a star.

Now, on their menu, they state housemade their dough, sauces, etc... This is extremely deceptive. Actually, it's a straight lie. Seems that to them, this simply means reheating all the frozen garbage that rolls out the back of their food service truck. 
Just like every other crappy "Italian" place, you get these ugly, pale, squishy "meat"balls. If these were homemade, they would have been browned, and much darker. They had the texture of hot dogs(finely ground meat paste), and were squishy and slimy like a sponge that hadn't been rinsed out after doing the dishes. "Fresh", the menu states.
Then there is the sauce. Bland and watery, couldn't even stick to the overcooked and limp spaghetti noodles. Had that same weird taste that all the cheap indi fast Italian places have. It's instantly recognizable as foodservice grade slop, same as the meatballs. Now, while I appreciate the quick delivery, I know that BAKED spaghetti and meatballs takes time in the oven. You know, so the cheese gets all brown and bubbly. None of that for me. Instead, I got a mostly melted layer of thick, cheap chewy cheese.

I expected much more with all the "homemade" around their menu. Instead, it's a menu of deception and foodservice food to the likes of.. Well, not sure. Just terrible. I probably wouldn't have minded so much if they removed the first page of the menu and the price knocked down by $3.

If they want to learn how to make homemade sauce and meatballs, I would gladly teach, free of charge. It's not difficult nor is it expensive.

I guess it's easy to sling slop when that's all there is in a tiny town.

Do better.
