I went to get my name changed, as I'm transgender. Everyone was super nice and patient with my questions, including the people at payment windows and at security. The process of name change was explained thoroughly and in a way that I understood it. It didn't feel like an exchange of words and money, the people there seemed to genuinely want to help me with my case. Thank you, those who helped me!

Definitely not there for the citizens who want justice. The court will not answer questions about how to file other than to tell you the status of your case. The court will not return calls. The court has disconnected their answering machine. There are lots of hidden fees; you pay to file, you pay to get a copy of your judgement, you pay more to get a certified copy of your judgement.

stars for security at the front door and if I was just rating security it would be 5 stars, but unfortunately once you past the friendly faces of security it’s like entering the seventh circle of hell! No justice, no help unless you’re made of money to afford all the fees!

just more county sheriffs going against the constitution and the bill of rights.  they are truly terrorist and taking our freedoms away one at a time.  dont beleive me look at they "code" section of marion county. they enforce martial law on streets they do not want kids driving one, violation of martial law, but hell the terrorist oh i mean county has even better codes like "if its unsightliness" they can take it and fine you $500 a day then take your  land.  they are TERRORIST

Bureaucracy at its best. So interesting how all the Circuit Courts in Oregon have their own rules.  And Circuit Courts are in charge of the laws for Oregon? VERY SCARY!
