My husband and I did our taxes for couple years at Mark Tax Services. Mr. Mekuria (who likes to go by Mark), will tell you that you will get a sizable refund and guaranties that he stands by his work. True to his word, you will get a sizable tax refund, however it comes with a cost. My husband is self employed (drives Arlington cab) and does itemized deduction on our tax return. We got audited by IRS for 2014, 2015 tax return. Mr. Mekuria went mum, he could not answer let alone explain the work that he did to IRS personnel when IRS came knocking. Most Ethiopians (which I happen to be one) elect to get their taxes done at Mark's Tax Service for ease and convenience. Just BEWARE that he won't stand by you or defend his work in the chance you get audited. If you are self employed, STAY AWAY! Pay a little bit more money and get your taxes done at a reputable tax service..i.e. Jackson Hewitt. FYI: We ended up paying IRS roughly 25,000 for 2014, 2015 federal and state back taxes combined. STAY AWAY from this shady place.

A customer of this company came to me seeking to rectify a tax situation. I was unable to communicate with Mekuria effectively due to unprofessional-ism, profanity, and general indifference.
