For such a busy market it is pretty clean.  The employers are polite and helpful. Tin addition they have an excellent selection of food especially ethnic food.  And of course the prices are great

Produce here is good and better value than many other stores. Deli is is high quality and lunch options are numerous.
Not always the 'healthiest', I'd also like to see more Organic options. Caters a lot the more 'ethnic' communicates in the area but you can find a lot of bargains.

I was just there today. We're expecting a huge snow storm tonight, so you can imagine how busy the store was. I really like to shop there. It's always very busy there but knowing that there are so many cashier's it makes it easy. I love shopping at Market basket.

I would give them a 5 plus. Up to yesterday they were my only market up here.. I will say that the steaks and pork always looks the best BUT i bought some ground turkey to make some turkey burgers and threw up as soon as i opened the package and smelled what came out of it. (Perdue brand ).. Other than that....10***

Impressive selection of quality products. 
Better thsn reasonably priced and great deals always available,  more so than the other locals. Prepared foods from sandwiches to sushi, and pizzas to entire 4 course meals are as good as any restaurant but reasonable.
They continue to lift that section of the City to heights unimaginable 10 years ago
Worth the trip from Dartmouth and other outlying towns.
