Better than the other chain restaurant that serves seafood. Much better. I have been to many locations of Market Broiler. This one only suffers from servers that get distracted. Other times it's great service.  Seafood is fresher, salads crisp, chowder can be good but always the sourdough bread is served warm. Drinks and wine excellent.  Best seafood restaurant with better than any other happy hour! Good for lunch as menu priced accordingly or dinner is always a hit.

If you are in the Fremont area, come to this restaurant. They have some of the best seafood in the area. The servers are friendly and the decor is great. Price is steep, but is worth the quality of the food. The Fish and Chips are the best.

On 10/28/2017, around 5 PM, I came in on my own for dinner. For reasons that I do not understand, nor want to assume, my female waiter led me to the very back of the restaurant. The table in the back was away from all dining areas, little to no light, loud, secluded, next to the storage area, and near the entrance of the kitchen. In short, she placed me in the worst seat in the restaurant. I immediately requested for a new table and the manager sitting across from me at another table gave me a look as if I insulted his mother and his beliefs. I felt horribly judged.

I was well dressed and respectful as I waited for my table and did not show impatience when a table wasn't available immediately. The female waiter who sat me in the back did not respect me. I was disgusted, but I needed to get dinner. 

Christoph was the male waiter who assisted me after the visibly annoyed manager led me to a table in the front where it was properly lit. Christoph treated me with respect and the courtesy that all patrons deserve. Thank you Christoph.

To the manager who reluctantly sat me at a better seat, I will be calling and sending letters to corporate about you and the female waiter. 

To potential diners considering this location, be prepared to be judged and discriminated against for not being their target demographic.

I’ve been here many times for lunch and dinner.  This is a quality fish food restaurant.  Today I came for a business lunch, and the service was very quick!  The clam chowder is delicious, as was the rest of the food.  I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here in 2.5 years.

Service was good, as was the spicy tuna roll. However, the halibut and scallops were undercooked and not very warm - almost cold even. Disappointing considering what you pay for an entree.
