I know it’s February, and a non-busy time of the, but this DMV nothing like the bad reviews it has received. I just moved to West Virginia from Maryland and had to get a new license and register 2 vehicles. I went last week to do license and 1 car and just left after registering the 2nd. The service was fast and everyone that helped me was very friendly both times. Great job! Keep up the good work!

I wish I could give this place a better rating, but it is impossible. The last time I was there, just for a registration update, they switched the price on me (almost double!) and said that it had happened at the end of the previous month, but there was NO warning. Even with my registration renewal card which showed the lower price (and I was not late or anything) the woman said that it was just the way it is. No signs, nothing online, nothing. Plus I sat in that place for over an hour, and it smelled like an uncleaned gas station bathroom. It was pretty horrible! With all that said, I can't blame the employees. If you smile at them, they will become so helpful, within their guidelines, that it's pretty amazing. I guess most people are so irritated by the time they get to the live person, that they can't, but in my experience, the people tend to be nice if you are. That DMV needs a real manager to come in and reorganize how things are done. DMV is always going to suck, but a good manager (and a cleaning team) could make it suck less.

i love the new WV DMV! I work for a dealership in Maryland and the process when I drive up for a customers WV plates has been great. Thanks for all you do!!

People are super rude specially the lady’s on the driver examination side they always giving me attitude and nasty looks! I tried talking to her and she kept ignoring me and they are never willing to help you! Never coming here ever again
