Story

Located in Washington, D.C., and dating back to the mid 1930s, Masjid Muhammad is a nonprofit 501(c)3 religious organization. It's representative of the oldest Muslim community in the Nation’s Capitol. Creating community life & productive citizenship.

Mission

Our Mission Statement:
To build upon our seventy-five plus year history in the Nation's Capitol and be the Nation's Masjid, a model, productive, and balanced Islamic community that values and serves the needs of our members and takes seriously the trust and responsibility of citizenship. We will promote the oneness of G-d, the excellence and commonality of the human family, and build valuable relationships with our neighbors and all G-d conscious people.
