My grandfather William Layton was possibly the biggest florist in Hartlepool in his day and he had a great working relationship with Mason's back in his day. The family used Mason's services for both my grandfather and my grandmother and when my father passed in 2002 we used them again. Sadly in August 2022 my mum passed so we had need of their services again. Terry took care of things and I'm pleased to say that their standard of service had not slipped over the years. I would have no hesitation at all in highly recommending this firm to anyone who has lost a loved one.

This is the second time my family has availed itself of Masons services and we have not been disappointed.  On this occasion we were very fortunate to have Terry as our advisor who orchestrated the proceedings without fault.  His calm and empathy were present thoughout for which we were extremely  thankful.  We would not hesitate to recommend Masons in the future.

Every member of my family from grandparents to parents aunts uncles have all been to Mason's as quality.care.professionalism,help and guidance is 1st class, couldn't ask for anything more, always makes loved ones feel better knowing the care and attention that's is given to the ones they lost. Our mam died in July 2014. We contacted Mason and Martin funeral services. We were treated with excellent service from the first moment till after the service and beyond. Adam was the person looking after my sister Jackie and myself and we where overwhelmed by the attention to detail from Adam. I worked here as a funeral director with 100% client satisfaction. I was forced out the door because I tried to bring to management's attention The discussing comments made by staff and also the way in which certain members of staff behaved around the deceased. I would be very careful trusting your loved one with certain members of staff not all. Sad that a company that had such a good reputation is in the hands of people that think this kind of behaviour is acceptable.
