I am an avid believer in massages. I have never used the massage envy chain and decided to sign up for their monthly membership. My third time going in, I was paired with a new therapist as I could tell by her techniques and pressures. It felt as if all she was doing were rubbing lotion on my skin. I was the last person leaving the room that night and happened to forget my wedding ring and band in the jewelry tray. As soon as I got home, I called and left a message. The following morning, I did not hear back so I called again shortly after they opened at 9 am. I was told nothing was found in the room after I left. After work, I was determined to speak to a manager as this was unacceptable to me. Calmly, I spoke to the front desk and manager about my concerns and was disappointed. The manager was rude and inconsiderate. Never once apologized. She even stated, how do they know if I took off my ring in the room. I understand they are not liable for missing jewelry however, for my rings to go missing over night is beyond me. I will not be returning to this location and will be calling the owner to cancel my membership. I'm sure that is going to be a pain to do as well but I would rather be spending my money elsewhere.

I had a 90 minute massage gifted to me and was told by the person who gave it to me to check with them when it would expire because it was going to. I called and made an appointment and was told the gifted 90 minute massage would be valid for my visit. I received a call the night before my massage and was asked to have a card on file in case I didn't show. I asked why they would need a card since I have the gifted massage and they could just take that if I didn't show up for my appointment which they replied with this is our procedure. I asked to make sure my gifted massage was valid and she said it was. This morning I show up 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I have the massage which was fine...then I go to check out and that's when they hit me with "We don't know what happen to the gifted massage, you have to pay for your 90 minute session." I explained I had made sure my gifted massage was valid and that I would have cancelled the massage if it wasn't valid anymore. I asked for the manager and I happened to be already speaking to her. I told them I don't get massages and the only reason I got one was because I was gifted one and I wasn't going to pay for it since this was not my fault and that you should have told me once you figured out my "gifted massage" was no longer going to be accepted. She calls "Misty" and explains that I was not going to pay and she replies with just charge him for a 60 minute new client massage and tell him that's the best we can do. I want to tip my masseur and only have my card so now I'm stuck with "Screw the person over who just gave me a 90 minute massage or pay the $50 so I can tip" I am a firm believer in tipping for services and made the stupid mistake of paying the $50 just so I could give a $16 tip. I asked to speak to "Misty" and was told I can't today since she isn't working and that they had called her personal number. Was given a number to call which was just their store number. Asked when she would be in because I would like to speak to her in person only to be told she doesn't keep regular hours and they don't know when she would be in. This place is a joke. Thieves.

Staff is very rude and uninformative. When I called to make my appointment, having not been here before, I asked about the services they offered. The girl couldn't really tell me anything. I ended up going to the website to find out and then calling to make my appointment. They claimed to have told me to show up early for paperwork (and a dumb sales pitch) when they didn't which allowed them to cut my massage short. Granted I was running a few minutes late, as in less than 10 (work can be unpredicatable sometimes). I called and left a message to let them know I was running a few minutes late about 30 minutes before they opened. A rude girl returned my call only to ask if I was on my way, keep in mind I still wasn't aware of the 20 minutes I was supposed to arrive prior to the appointment time, however, SHE was and at that time should have offered to move my appointment to later in the day (and I know there were ones available because I called when I got home). Keep in mind my required arrival time would have put me there 20 minutes BEFORE they opened. Anyway, the appointment I made was for an 1 1/2 massage and sugar foot scrub add on. I walked out with a mediocre hour massage and no foot scrub. Apparently the gal made note of telling me to be early (which she didn't) but not of my ordering the foot scrub. And don't think the manager is going to do anything to rectify the situation. All she has to offer is lame excuses as to why this isn't their fault. What terrible customer service! This place sucks. JUST PLAIN AWFUL!!!! STAY AWAY!!!
