Good dogs, quick service, clean place.
Decided to visit this place again and this time tried their deep dish. It's a good tasting pizza but it's not deep dish. Price sure would make you think so. It's nothing more than a thin crust pizza served in a deep pan and thin, tall sidewalls. I've lived in Chicago, visit every year and although I really wanted a deep dish in NC, unfortunately this is not it. Please don't misunderstand me. It's a good tasting, fresh pizza which I wouldn't mind having again at all... It's just not a deep dish. Excellent manager, nice place.

The employees are friendly and fast. The food is great and they have great music playing ! Came for the first time to try the garlic fries and I was not disappointed. Can't believe I lived by here so long with out trying it.

I heard Matt's Chicago Dog had Chicago style pizza and I could not wait to try it.  I went to eat there at lunch yesterday, ordered a 10' Chicago style with just cheese and a drink and it was almost $20... When the pizza came, the crust was thin... it came in a deep dish pan, but it was a thin crust.  I tried the pizza and it had a great flavor, but for thin crust, it was way too expensive at $15.95 for a 10'.  It had a lot of cheese on it, and the sauce was good but I would never spend that much money for a 10' thin crust pizza again.  Sorry Matt's... you fell short on this one.

I went to Matt's Chicago Dog for the first time today. I asked the cashier if the corn dogs were all beef. He didn't know and went to ask someone else. She didn't know either. He said there was no one there who would know. Staff should know what the food they're selling is made of.  I got the cheeseburger. I asked for it medium well and it was definitely rarer than that. The flavor was good though. Not the best first experience.

I don't like leaving bad reviews for places, but I had such a bad customer service experience that I can't not leave one. I was overcharged and when I asked to speak to the manager she was not only defensive and condescending, but didn't offer me anything to make up for my experience. I'm sure their food is good, but I really can't get past the awful customer service experience on my very first visit. I'm not one to complain and the experience was really ridiculous. Working in food service myself I know not to treat customers that way.
