Great restaurant my brother and sister-in-law go often. We went with them while visiting. Great food in really large portions. Very authentic pasta and drinks are very good also. I believe they make some of their own Liquors. Waiter was awesome and even gave us complimentary chocolate covered strawberries.

One of my favorite Italian restaurants is under new ownership and sadly it's just not the same. The service and quality of our dinner was just not there. I took my wife there for Valentines Day. We made a reservation and showed up 15 minutes early. We were seated on time or shortly after. We sat upstairs and the restaurant was pretty full. They charged me $3.75 for an iced tea and $10 per small glass of wine. Our bill came to $78 before gratuity for two pasta dinners ( no salads or appetizers) and 1 tea and 2 glasses of wine. After seated for 20 minutes our waiter approached our table to let us know he would come back to take our drink order. When he came back 10 minutes later, we told him we were ready to order. Our waters were now empty and we asked as he was leaving if we could please get refills. Later he brought our drinks but didn't refill the waters. We waited a good while for our meal to arrive and they brought my wife's meal out by itself. Our waiter brought my meal out about 10 minutes later. Food was disappointing as the pasta was chewy. Tasted pretty good just either not fresh or slightly under cooked. Art on walls was very crooked and cheap looking prints...really bad. The lights really flickered brightly on and off repeatedly and this brought our attention to the many water stains on the ceiling. After I started to look around you could see the upstairs really needs painting. I will likely give them another shot but very disappointed compared to the Matteo's service and food we have grown to love. :(

Did not appreciate not receiving any drink service for 15 minutes after being seated. 5 tables full in the whole restaurant at the time. 2 tables received water after being seated after we were seated. If you are asking this amount for the food you better have your service on par. Don't think you are going to survive in the business asking those prices for sub par dinning experiences. Will not return( life long resident to the area).

This is a Great restaurant. The two owners really work hard to make sure you have a great night. They even gave us a specialty cocktail that they make so we could try it. Fantastic food. Nice locally run restaurant. You feel like home here. Cute small intimate bar..great for date night.

I LOVE Matteo's! I think the food there is amazing! My favorite food is tortellini and my favorite dessert is tiramisu. I totally recommend people to go there! The service was incredible, they really put there customers in first place! (I can't wait until November to go to their new location that's gonna be close to us.)
