Excellent place for a local nature walk on any number of well maintained trails. Nice views of the river, and habitat for local eagle populations.

Beautiful trails. Plentiful parking with low daily rates. Bathrooms. Excellent park interpreters! Ms. Donna's free kid-leidoscope program for young children is great.

What a beautiful place to visit. The park is an estate that was donated to the state. The entire place is covered with great walking, hiking, and horse trails. The gardens are pretty, but seemed to be a bit neglected. There are many events and programs presented here, so make sure you check out their website to see if anything fun is happening when you'll be there.
