Forests, fields, ponds and a river. Paved spine closed to cars in the winter. Ample parking and dog friendly. You can even crash a wedding at the estate on the weekends.

10-9-2016 Went to the park to hike the Discover Hamilton trail. What I discovered was that too many of the trail signs are missing and/or confusing. Overall a nice park, nothing spectacular, but then again, it is a wonder that there are so many good tracks of land for hiking in this metro area. The trails were well maintained, but found that there are outdated maps still out there (make sure its not dated earlier than Sept 2013). Our map was from 2012 and so was wrong in several places. Good place for an easy/moderate walk through the country.

One of the best parks for walking or biking around. Great scenery and trails, and it connections with Willowdale park for even nice biking trails.

Bradley Palmer State Park is best known as the home of the recently updated zero-entry accessible pool that is open mid June through early September, and for the historic fieldstone mansion called "Willowdale Estate" that sits in the middle of the property, and for it's close proximity to the Ipswich River for canoeing and biking. The estate and the park staff offer great interpretive historical programs for the public to enjoy! It is also home to over 721-acres of paths, meadows and historic carriage roads. This historic land was once owned by the avid equestrian and attorney Bradley Palmer, and is still frequented by riders throughout the year. This park has something for every season.
