I found them by Googling best pancakes on Long Island. I've since learned several friends are regulars. Their food is scary good, the pancakes and baked oatmeal flawless; even a simple burger and fries is great. The chicken salad is the best anywhere. It's crowded, you will wait an hour, but once in the service is attentive, the coffee hot and good, and very friendly and clean. It's really a (sadly fattening but really yummy) marvel.

Love Maureen's Kitchen. Food is always awesome. Very imaginatively their specials. Food always fresh and yummy. Great atmosphere with cow notice. Staff always super friendly with excellent service. Get there ea fly if you don't like waiting.

Probably the best breakfast spot on Long Island. Deducted a star for being cash only, highly annoying in 2018. Get with the times and stop being cheap (merchant service fees are not that bad when you’re making a killing). Yes people will eat here anyway, but it’s about being convenient for your customers. The waits are long, as mentioned in every other review but obviously for good reason. Their food is amazing.  Enjoy the cow decor and come hungry.

Meet up with a couple of friends raving about the food. We left completely dissatisfied. First off place wasn't as busy as what we have heard from but the table we sat in was dirty as if they never wiped the table. Sticky all over even syrup bottle with 1 ounce of syrup left for 3 people. When we asked for special to be explained the waitress read it so fast and was huffing when we asked a question as she watched crowd coming in. Again not our fault. My eggs were over cooked and dry. Pancakes were like frisbees yet raw on middle. My friends Chicken salad was so dry and so clumpy. I could go on and on. So needless to say were never coming back and spreading the word.

Our waitress, Nancy was such a sweetheart. She also helped me find vegetarian options. Everything tastes extremely fresh and flavorful! On top of that the atmosphere has a home-y feel but classy and clean at the same time! Highly recommend. NOT OVERPRICED at all which was also really awesome! :)
