The food is the best Thai around, and I would definitely recommend it! It is an understated place... a hidden gem. My only piece of advice is to tell people who place orders by the phone you need more time if you are running behind. We don't mind waiting longer to come pick up. It's better than waiting after arriving.

We (4 adults and 2 children) had a delicious dinner at Raan Thai tonight. The coconut chicken soup, loaded with chicken and mushrooms, had wonderful flavor. Appetizer special is a must. Get three and save money. Children loved the chicken satay and coconut rice. Red curry dish is special -delicious. Save room for dessert and get the Thai iced tea!! We will come back soon!! Oaded with chicken

Met the new management recently and had to tell them just how amazing the food and service was. Hands down one of the best Thai restaurants on Long Island. They have authentic dishes, friendly wait staff, and good clean atmosphere. I’ve both eaten in and had delivery, and have been happy with the food every time. Whether you live in Smithtown or are just passing through, stop in for some delicious food!

Fabulous food: coconut chicken soup, chicken satay, pineapple fried rice .... also fried banana. All were exceptional. Attentive and very knowledgeable wait staff. Overall an excellent dining experience. I highly recommend it

One of the best Thai restaurants in Long Island. We had mango sticky rice, Shrimp noodles, tofu appetizers. All items were delectable and carefully prepared.
