This is a dishonest shop that I will NEVER do business with again. See details below:

I got a flat tire at the same time I needed a NYS inspection. Made since to go to Mavis and get flat repair and inspection at the same time. I pulled a nail from the tread pattern of the flat tire and felt and heard an out rush of air. I inspected the tire and no further defects. I pit the spare tire on. My wife took the car to Mavis since I was working. The Mavis technician showed her a hole in the shoulder of the tire and said it was unrepairable! Now I agree that a shoulder puncture cannot be repaired but there was no puncture in the shoulder of the tire when I last saw it. If there was, pulling the nail would not have caused the out rush of air. Evidently someone at this store, perhaps accidentally, punctured the shoulder of my tire. My wife ended up buying a new tire.

Then they did a NYS inspection on my vehicle and recommended new tires. I bought 4 new tires in January 2016 and have only driven 18000 miles on them. They easily pass the quarter test for tread depth. This was just another attempt to deceive my wife into spending more money. At least they were honest enough to say they passed inspection and my wife did not fall for their trick.

So far I've done business at 3 Mavis locations and only the one on Parker Ave in Poughkeepsie has not done anything dishonest that I know of.

Made appointment online for tires listed as in stock.  Employee called me half hour before and left message to return call.  I did. I was asked when my apt was for. Told him. He said to come on in.  Arrived and was told that tires wouldn't be there til Monday then offered to sell me something else.  What a waste of an hour.  Sears Auto to the rescue.

Terrible experience. I made an appointment for 2:00 pm for a new york state inspection. I expected that it might take 30-60 minutes, they might be busy, I would understand. However, I hoped that because I had made an appointment I would be out of there quickly. However, it took nearly 3 hours for the inspection to be completed! My car passed the inspection, there were no issues, but it took until 4:45 for the inspection to be completed. I'm never coming back here, and I would recommend that you do not shop here either if you value your time.

This place sucks they say 2 hours and it all frickin day 3 times never again very poor they all suck there they just stand around doing nothing I brought my car there 3 times for tire sensor cause they couldn't program it right they have no perception of time this place needs help no one please go there u will not be happy with outcome
