I loved this bookstore! For one, it's in a great place (The Village is beautiful and the people are friendly), and it had a great selection of books sorted by genre. The owner was genuinely personable, and the books there were in good condition for being used. I picked up some classics as well as books that were new to me, and the prices were decent.

Located right in the La Mesa Village next to the trolley- this shop is the best! The prices are unbelievable on all kinds of wonderful books. The selection is excellent, and some really high-end rare finds are tantalizing just to handle and observe even if you can't afford to buy them. I read the Alchemical Writings of Edward Kelly there, written in 1570-something and first published in 1678. What a trip!
