If you like waiting hours with little to no communication and being ignored and somewhat disrespected, then this is the clinic for you. I’ve visited this clinic MANY times already and have yet to have had a pleasant experience (despite trying to give them the benefit of the doubt). I understand that some days are extra busy, but at this point there’s little to no excuse for poor service and care. Hopefully other locations are better. With the “Mayo Clinic” name behind it, I had somewhat higher expectations. Disappointed. If you’re choosing between going here or traveling to the next town, it’s worth the travel.

I have lived in Owatonna my whole life. I found out i was pregnant & ive been trying to set an appointment with a specific doctor, but she never has time. Her nurses has taken about 3 months to get into contact with me. They eventually called & I set an appointment for Friday (2/2/18) .. They called me on Friday & told me she wouldn’t be in & that I have to wait till the 28th of this month.. another month of waiting. I’m now 5 months pregnant, & I still haven’t had an appointment!! I have to drive to the Northfield hospital because they treat me like a priority & have appointments when I need them to make sure I’m having a safe pregnancy. It’s a drive but worth it.

Doctor Plate and Jessica J Johnson are the best doctors. So nice, caring, and professional. Owatonna may be smaller than most cities but one thing going strong for them, is this clinic. I enjoy having the best and most comfortable Medicare through them.

There is no reason for online portal because doctors don't use it. They take forever to get back to you and make you come In multiple times for the same issue when you call plan on being on hold for awhile.

Doctor (Gantert) misdiagnosed a slow-growing cancer lesion on my skin for eight years!  Said it was a scar.  It got bigger and bigger and so painful so I went to dermatology--that doc (Griffin) still treated it like a scar.  Could not recognize it as cancer or didn't bother to biopsy.  Grew to the size of a half-dollar and was raised an inch.  She sent me to plastic surgeon to 'excise the scar'.  He was clever enough to biopsy.   I nearly fainted when he said cancer.  Got surgery in Rochester to remove it.  Surgeon said I was lucky the lesion did not grow into a major organ!   Another doc threw me out of his office when I went in limping with a cane and I had pain and a pinched nerve.  He (Joshua Hou) said I was just there for opiods!!  Left in tears and went to the ER.  They diagnosed and told me what to do to rectify.   I will never go to this clinic again.   Going to Faribault, Rochester, or North Field clinics.  Sorry.
