My favorite Chinese restaurant!!!!! The best lychee martinis! Amazing staff. Our server/bartender Amy was so knowledgeable. Every dish we ordered was perfect. The food is so delicious, I can’t wait to go back. Thank you.
Fantastic authentic Chinese food! I grew up eating Sichuan food at home and the dishes here reminded me of what my mom used to make. Our servers were very attentive and provided prompt and friendly service, I would highly recommend stopping by for authentic Chinese food!Food: 5/5
Mazu has Delicious Szechuan food! The tofu and broccoli was perfect. Pan sauteed to perfection and the broccoli was crisp and tasty. The Brown sauce was amazing. My husband had the General Tao's chicken which was fantastic. Good quality chicken and cooked perfectly. Had Christmas Day dinner here with a friend. Absolutely delicious Szechuan food. Really fresh and tasty . Get the Scallion Pancakes appetizer, that was great ! Really crispy with a nice dipping sauce. The Lemon Shrimp appetizer is really hot and fresh too. I got the Dry Pepper style Fish for a main course and my friend got the Pepper Scallops. Both were good but be warned that Dry Pepper style is very Hot. All was good. Many people had glasses of wine but there's a full bar here so we got cocktails. The Kiss of the Dragon and the Lychee Martini and the Pomegranate one. All were good but the Lychee Martini may be stronger. Excellent taste food and drinks. We had dessert of cheesecake and Tiramisu. Both very nice. Recommended. Portions on mains were big enough to take some home. You have to show vaccine card.
Came across this great restaurant on a Friday night. Was seated quickly, and food came shortly after we ordered. Dishes were authentic for Szechuan, and the waiter gave us an accurate description of the spice levels 2 peppers icons = 7/10 spice level. Dishes were unique and tasty! Would definitely come back.
Great Chinese Food. Shrimp dumplings are excellent. Mapo Tofu is brilliant very spicy and hot, but tasty.
Such an authentic Chinese cuisine. I’ve been trying different places and this Thousand Pepper Chicken has the closest taste to the one I had in Chengdu. Beware - it’s very spicy and delicious!
My friend and I stopped by for dinner on a Tuesday night. Relatively quiet and calm ambience inside, and definitely more room than the average restaurant for you to spread out a little bit. Staff were attentive and accommodating. We ordered a number of sharable dim sum/small plates, and they were all very tasty. Loved that they gave us tongs for most of the food so it was easy to pick up/portion out. You can't go wrong with any of the food here, but highly recommend the sesame noodles and scallion pancakes!
We came in without former knowledge and found the restaurant almost empty. There were two waitresses working. They seated us gave us cold water .She gave us menu's. We looked at the menus and decided on three different entrees . I was with two other people aside from myself. All the platters that we were presented were very very tasty. The pricing at the restaurant was fair for Manhattan pricing. The restaurant itself was spotless. Our orders were prepared quickly. It will be my pleasure to frequent this restaurant on Third Ave and 33 Rd Street. I recommend this restaurant Highly
This is the best Chinese food in midtown East. Quality ingredients, fresh veggies, fast delivery. We order from here often and have never had a bad meal. I recommend the chicken potstickers, veggie lo mein, chicken and black bean, General Tsao, chicken with mixed vegetables.
